In reality, SEO is not all that hard.

But for those that are technically challenged it can be quite a task. If your here, I know your looking to recieve a TON of free traffic from the search engines.

If your new to all this, then it’s important to know and implement the basics to the site your trying to promote.

Search engine optimization is made up of three things!

  • Keyword Research
  • On Page Optimization
  • Off Page Optimization

-

Keyword Research

Doing good keyword research is were it all begins, if you mess this up then your SEO campaign won’t see good results. Most people try to go after keywords with lots of traffic and search volume.

This can be VERY lucrative if you can get on the first page of Google, but these keywords have HEAVY competition and you will most likely get no where.

You must go after keywords that have low competion but a decent amount of search volume.

That way you can receive easy rankings and a ton of traffic with ease!

-

On Page Optimization

Once you have the keywords that you will be targeting you must optimize your website for these keywords so that Google recognizes your website.

This includes places in the keywords in your Title, Meta Keywords & Description tags.

Your content must also be relevant to your keywords. There are most things that go along with this, but this is the basis of it.

-

Off Page Optimization

This is simply the process of building links to your site to increase your link popularity.

Whichever site has the most backlinks with the right anchor text, wins the SEO war and holds the TOP Google spot!

There are many different ways you can build links such as:

  • Commenting on blog post
  • Submitting articles to directories
  • Submitting content to Web 2.0 sites
  • Making forum post with a link to your site in your signature
  • Bookmark your site with different social bookmarking sites

And the list goes on and on!

-

When you combine those three activities and do them correctly you will easily outrank your competition on Google and any other search engine.

There’s always the urge to use automated SEO software these day and for a good reason.

As technology advances, people get lazier or they just try to keep up with the competition.

There are 2 types of SEO software on the market these days.

One helps automate the process of building links to your site and the other helps you ensure that all on page factors of your website are up to standard.

-

So let’s start with automated backlink building.

To build backlinks, I normally use a software tool called SENuke and Unique Article Wizard.

These tools pretty take a piece of content, such as an article and submites it to over 50+ web 2.0 and article directories. This not only does wonders for your rankings but gets you more exposure.

The negative side to this is that if you have a new site, building links that fast can be spammy! :-(

We all know that, who ever has the most backlinks pointing to their site wins the SEO WAR!

-

Automated On Page Factors

Before you start building links you will need to make sure your site is optimized for certain keywords. This is also called “On Page” optimization.

Overtime SEO experts have figured out what Google and other search engines look for in a site.

One of the main things is keyword density and how easy pages are found on your website. There are a bunch of other things that I go over in my mind guide if you really want to know the whole spill.

So these days you would simply enter your URL/domain name into software tools such as Internet Business Promoter to figure out where you site needs attention so that it can rank easily.

-

Now this software is expensive but if your serious about getting a TON of free traffic to your site, it is a must to either have these tools or learn how to do it yourself.

I want to hear your feedback! :-)
